Dr. Nichola Davis is the Assistant Vice President of Chronic Disease and Prevention in the Office of Population Health.
Previously, Nichola was the Director of Ambulatory Medicine at New York Health and Hospitals/North Central Bronx where she was the lead physician for PCMH, ACO and chronic disease initiatives. Nichola is a general internist and her clinical work focuses primarily on addressing obesity among low-income African-American and Latino communities particularly among those with diabetes. She strongly believes that helping people to lead healthier lifestyles is the foundation for improving health care outcomes, and is committed to finding ways to teach about and encourage healthier lifestyles through her work. Nichola has also conducted clinical research focused on dietary interventions, dietary patterns and weight loss among low-income populations.
